#GeneralizedAnxietyDisorder#GAD
Generalized anxiety disorder (GAD) is a type of anxiety disorder in which a person feels persistent, excessive and unrealistic worry about everyday occurrences. There is no specific event or situation that triggers this anxiety. A person with GAD may feel excessively anxious about anything and everything and may feel helpless in controlling their anxiety.
People with GAD can perceive everyday situations and occurrences as potentially threatening or disastrous, making it extremely difficult to go about one’s daily routine. GAD affects about 3.1 million adults in the US every year.
