There's a New Music Video for All the Sexy Anxious Girls Out There
It’s a sequence of events you may be familiar with: you’re getting ready to go out with friends, feeling pretty good — sexy even — and then as soon as you get to the bar to order a drink, bam. Anxiety hits. Suddenly, it’s like you’ve forgotten the English language, let alone your drink order, and the care-free night you thought you were going to have is taken over, once again, by anxiety.
This is a scene set by comedy duo Brittany Tomkin and Jorja Hudson, accompanied by comedian Akilah Hughes and actress Marshall Louise, in their music video, “Sexy Anxious Girls,” which depicts what life is like “out on the town” when you’re a young person with anxiety.
“They like to have fun, but they also have problems,” says a voice in the beginning of the video. “They’re the sexy anxious girls, and their about to get mental, in the generalized anxiety disorder kind of way.”
