Daily battle trying to chase & DRY the puddles I'm always making.

He never asked to be born this way
His body not listening to his commands
His mind processing things his way
His fight so strong
Yet, through the years, he teaches so much
Patience
Practice
Forgetting what should be
Accepting what is
Saying no to frailty
He never asked to be born at all
But he was
He is
His life has meaning
And grace
And with it, prayer for lifelong support
He lives in his own way
A life I would have never chosen for him
But a beautiful one nonetheless. ##livingwithCP
