I wasn't sure if I was ridiculous for getting this, but gosh do I feel so at peace. Whereas before I would go into town not knowing if I'd have a seizure, suddenly not be able to speak, or cause people to panic or call an ambulance, now I can have a way to communicate my needs to others in case HM rears its ugly head. I'd worried that I might appear drunk during an attack or that something bad might happen when I'm vulnerable and unable to function properly - physically or mentally. Since my migraines sneak up on me with no warning at times, this is a purchase I'm confident in. (Note: no sponsorships, yall.)
I purchased an ID bracelet via www.roadid.com and made sure to include my name, husband's cell, and my condition on the engraving. I cannot express how wonderful this bracelet is - and it even included a sweet note from the lady who packaged my bracelet. I hope I never have to use it, but I'm so glad I have this peace of mind.
If you're struggling with the idea of getting one, don't be ashamed and don't second guess your instincts. If you find yourself worrying when you drive or go out by yourself, it's definitely worth easing your anxiety. #MedicalAlertBracelet #MedicalBracelet #MedicalID #Independence
