I am so sorry that I have not been on here in a while to greet all of our lovely new members. I have been taking care of my grandmother who is on hospice.

Usually everyday is a mix up of many emotions for my patient. One day she is mad all day and one day she may be mad, crying, and really happy all at the same time. The past couple of days has been wonderful for her. She still has cried when she was happy and she didnt understand why but she knew she wasnt sad. Days like this are the reasons I love what I do. Dont get me wrong, I can still get overwhelmed and upset with the best of them, but days like this make it all worth it. She has been non stop thanking me for being here and helping her understand things and taking the time to work with her. When usually she doesnt want me here. I dont always need to be thanked for what I do but it is nice to hear every now and then. I just want her to kniw that I am here and that I will do everything in my power to make sure she stays safe. I love her like if she were my grandmother. It brings me so much joy to know that for right now she is okay. She is in a great mood and will have another wonderful day. ##GoodDay ##NotJustAJobToMe ##NavigatingAlzheimersTogether 💚💙
