It's weird, my eyes feel like they're straining so much and I have to refocus my eyes every few minutes. It's exhausting and really ouchy. On Monday I'm gonna call my opthalmologist office to see if I should go see the neuro-ophthalmologist instead. It could be a few months to get an appointment. I just want answers. My neurologist and my PCP both say they don't have a clue. When my PCP doesn't have answers that's when I know it's serious.

This is what we know so far:

*Both Optic nerves are atrophied. Have been for over 5 years. I had some loss of peripheral vision.

*I've been having really bad double vision for over a year. My opthalmologist gave me eye drops. It didn't help.

*During my last opthalmologist appointment I was told that I am developing a cataract in my right eye.

*A year ago we (my neurologist and I) found out my optic chiasm is narrowed. My neurologist didn't know what it could be causing so he said it's for eye doctors. So I had my neurology office fax records to my opthalmologist.

So I have an appointment on January 15th with my neurologist to discuss vyepti and I have an appointment the next day with my opthalmologist. Pauley is coming with me to both. She knows how upset I am about my health problems.
