The Awesome Reason Why This 4-Year-Old Is Dressing Up as a Nurse
The Birmingham Children’s Hospital in England posted the photo below on Facebook on Oct. 21, and while it involves a costume, it turns out it has nothing to do with Halloween.
Angel, 4, regularly visits the medical center for polycystic kidney disease care, and when her school recently held a “Hero Day” and asked her to dress as her favorite hero, she dressed up as a nurse.

Polycystic kidney disease causes numerous fluid-filled cysts to grow in the kidneys, according to the National Kidney Foundation. It’s the fourth leading cause of kidney failure and can also affect other organs in the body.
Clearly, Angel has found comfort in some mighty nurses. She’s got one thing right: they’re the real heroes.
