Hello all ya Mighty people
I’m on from Denmark so bear with me if I make mistakes as English is not my native language.
As a very very lucky survivor of both septic shock and severe ARDS, I have been inspired by the Mightys challenge to share my 3 most radical acceptances ... here goes :
1. The small : I WILL accept now and finally, that my mom, dad and sister - and several more - will never ever try to understand and respect the battle I fight every single day just to get through the day
2. The medium : this should be easy, but I have to remember to count my BLESSINGS even when extreme exhaustion, ICU flashbacks, death-anxiety, brain fog and despair are drowning out all other emotions !
3. The big one : I AM A MIRACLE - I survived something that kills more than 75% and my own GP says he’s never known anybody to survive this! SO EVERY SINGLE DAY IS A MIRACLE - and I will meet it as such, despite ptsd, anxiety, brain fog and exhaustion!
Has anybody made a written declaration of their own radical acceptance statements to hang and better to remember on the really bad days ?
Love to ya all from me 😍
