If you put flowering plants out during the warmth of Spring and/or receive potted flowers as gifts, no need to let their beauty either away come fall! I bring all of my plants indoors when the weather cools, place them in sunny windows. I never lose the amazement of the plants reacting to increasing sunlight they receive through the windows that comes with spring, and whoosh! They start blooming! Even the bulb plants. When the weather warms I put them back out on the patio in pots, plenty of TLC, enjoy them grow & bloom their hearts out all summer, and, once again, I bring them back inside when the weather cools. Tending to the plants, while still outside, is an annual #morningritual . Peaceful, nature-bonding way to start the day. Does anyone else do this? Any particular flower have special meaning to you?
