Some people might think working from home is all fun and games, but when you live with a disability, chronic illness or even a mental health condition, remote work and reduced hours can be a necessary accommodation. For this reason, don’t forget to set yourself up for success while working from home.

In her article, “7 Ways to Boost Your Mental Health at Work,” Mighty contributor Corinne Keating outlined several ways to boost your well-being while you’re working, including starting your day with a relaxing routine and creating lists to help you stay organized and feel accomplished. Plus, don’t forget to carve out a workspace that’s both functional and keeps your mental spirits up. Keating said:

We’re talking about your immediate work area here. Love plants? Bring in some for your desk. Like to look at animals or your favorite rock star? Posters. The idea is, surround yourself with something that gives you pleasure and a mental boost. It could be anything from pictures of your partner to bright purple sticky notes.

If you’re looking for new remote opportunities you can do in your awesome office space, check out the current openings at these seven companies that all have part-time (and some full-time) jobs available.
