Bollywood film star Sushant Singh Rajput has died at the age of 34, according to NBC News, on Sunday. Police in Mumbai told reporters Rajput died by apparent suicide but an investigation is ongoing.

Rajput first garnered attention for his role in the Indian TV series “Kis Desh Mein Hai Meraa Dil” in 2008. From there he worked on several film and TV projects, including the 2019 Netflix film “Drive.” He was also slated to appear in the Bollywood remake of John Green’s “The Fault in Our Stars.”

Fans, friends and colleagues reacted to Rajput’s death on Twitter and shared condolences.
