I would give anything to be a special needs mom again.

I would give anything to go through the sleepless nights again, or go to hundreds of doctor’s appointments and hospital visits and therapies throughout the year again.

To be able to push my child’s wheelchair just one more time. I would give anything to be struggling with the G-tube that sometimes gets clogged or gets messy from spills.

Sometimes we get stressed and overwhelmed and take it all for granted when we do have that life.

It can be challenging, and sometimes we might feel defeated, but oh, how I would give anything to live that life again. The smiles, the laugh, the tears and the sadness…

On March 17, 2016, I lost my reason. After almost eight years, my Karina passed away. Now all I have are the memories. What’s in my heart and soul.

It’s not enough. It’s never enough. With a blink of an eye, all of that can be gone.

I will always be a mommy, but I would give anything to be a special needs mom again.
