7 Available Remote Jobs You Can Apply for This December
It’s officially the holiday season! While this year’s festivities look quite different than the past, there is a lot to be thankful for. I am personally grateful for the community I’ve found of chronically ill and disabled people who share similar experiences, stresses and fears. Communities like The Mighty make me feel less alone this holiday season.
I’m also feeling thankful for the companies actively making strides to be more inclusive. 2020 has been a wild year, but we have an opportunity now to take our learnings into 2021. We’ve learned that you don’t necessarily need to be physically in an office in order to be productive. Companies across the globe have gone remote — and we’ve learned that businesses can still thrive and grow with remote talent. We’ve also seen businesses needing to look beyond the typical boundaries of diversity to include those with illnesses and disabilities. These are all incredibly important changes that we must continue in 2021 and beyond.
For those of you who are new to these monthly articles and wondering why I’m so passionate about remote opportunities for all, my name is Hannah Olson and I’m the founder of Chronically Capable, a digital talent marketplace and community that connects chronically ill + disabled jobseekers to flexible job opportunities. We have always believed in the importance of creating space for the chronically ill and disabled to work and excel at their jobs without feeling like they have to sacrifice their health. Now, we’re working on getting employers across the globe to join us in actively supporting our community!
If you want to keep up with our work and our job opportunities, be sure to sign up for our newsletter or check out our Instagram to stay updated! On that note, I’d love to share seven remote work opportunities available this November.

3. Bumble
I’d swipe right on this company if I could. While we may know Bumble as the dating app that puts women in the power seat, the company strives to be diverse and inclusive for all. It even encourages applicants to ask for reasonable adjustments at any point in the application or interview process! Given it’s gone remote due to COVID-19, Bumble has opened up its opportunities for applicants worldwide. It offers some of the coolest remote-friendly benefits I’ve seen thus far including flexible working hours, live yoga and meditation classes, monthly meal delivery, and even an employee support fund for those who have faced hardships due to the COVID-19 pandemic. This is all in addition to their comprehensive health benefits!
