When you live with depression, bad mental health days can sneak up on you, making you want to retreat to your bed and hide under the covers. On days when it feels like depression is winning, it can be helpful to have a few creative coping techniques up your sleeve.

Maybe your first coping strategy is watching a favorite movie. Maybe for you, coping means reading a book that makes you feel a bit better. Or maybe you’re like me, and watching a funny YouTube video is what you need in a depressed moment (here’s my go-to!).

We wanted to know what funny YouTube videos people watch when they’re depressed, so we asked our mental health community what videos they keep coming back to time and time again.
