The nursing home I volunteer at had a parade for Mardi Gras today. They have been having them for years with different themes each year. This year they were celebrating 150 years in America so the theme was the continents. Some of the residents represented each continent.
A few nursing students, one resident, and I were penguins from Antarctica. The rest of the residents, who were in the audience, busted out in laughter when they saw us waddling down the hall in a line.
