Pain Awareness Month
Did you know that September is Pain Awareness Month? As such, let me tell you a little about myself. I have many conditions that deal with chronic pain. I have had pain for over 26 years. I have used various treatments such as medications, ablations, physical and occupational therapy, nerve blocks, regular steroid injections, procedures, heat/cold therapy, rest, braces, and various creams. Nothing has truly gotten me free of the pain in the different body parts, but I can try to be as comfortable as possible with treatments and life adjustments.
