Former U.S. President George H.W. Bush Dies at Age 94
George H.W. Bush has died at the age of 94, according to a statement from his office on Friday. A cause of death is yet to be released. According to The New York Times, he lived with a form of Parkinson’s disease in the years prior to his death. Bush served as the president of the United States from 1989 to 1993.

The 41st president, Bush signed the Americans With Disabilities Act (ADA) into law in 1990. The crucial law prohibits discrimination against people with disabilities and requires accessibility for employers, public spaces and housing. Upon signing the ADA, Bush said, “Let the shameful wall of exclusion finally come tumbling down.”
