In the video below, a clip from the film “Human” by filmmaker Yann Arthus-Bertrand, a man tells the story of a moment shared with his grandfather right after his wife and partner of 65 years had passed away.
His story is a beautiful one of loss but also of resilience and the human capacity for positivity and joy.
“I went to the woman behind the counter and said, ‘I have this list of things, could you help me find them?”” the speaker recalls his grandfather saying, in the video below. “‘My wife has recently changed her residence to heaven.’”
