So I forgot to post something about last week challenge, to dedicate some mental time out. When I first saw the challenge’s theme I thought “oh, this is going to be easy peasy, lemon squeezy!”
I was very wrong. It was more like “hard hard, lemon hard”. I am on a new job, so I have lots of things to do, my mind is always racing way past what it should. I’m trying a new app called Breathe to help me meditate, even if 5 minutes per day, but I keep forgetting to use it or am too tired. So, what I actually did was:
- Listened to ASMR videos, that really help me to sleep and calm my mind.
- I did some drawing time on an app called Assembly, that doesn’t require me to draw much but I can create, so it was really nice.
- On thursday my boyfriend came over and we really could enjoy being together, which I am counting as a time out of the craziness of everyday life.
- On friday I took a nice, long bath (on my chair in the shower, but I took the time to massage my aching body and it was really good.
- From friday to saturday I slept in a friend’s house and it was so amazing, I laughed a lot.
I really need to try to improve this time out thing, but at least I managed to do some things! #OTS #ChronicIllness #ChronicIllness
