My service dog is my hero
Today I was able to go out and do some training with my good friend who is the handler for Leo’s (my service dog) brother, Murphy. I love have someone to share this journey with.
The last couple days have been super tough, so I try to find the good in each day so I don’t get sucked into the void of despair and self pity.
Even though I was in pain and struggling I found the strength to get out and work on staying sane.
Sometimes I think we just need to find what makes us happy and do it as much as possible.
Going out with my friend and training our service dogs together makes me extremely happy. I love sharing in our successes and helping each other with our frustrations and doubts.
Having a support team, whether that’s one friend or a whole family can make all the difference. I hope you all have some form of support in your life. #Servicedogangels #ServiceDogs #ChronicIllness
