Be the best you can be today as you build the new, whatever that "new" means to you.

Sometimes during work transitions it's hard to let the past behind. We keep bringing it back with stories about what I did or didn't do or how did I respond or not to a boss' bad behavior. That's why this quote resonates so well with me. Letting go of the past, especially the recent past, it's easier said than done, but it can be done! I decided to live in the moment as much as I can and my anxiety allows me. Increasing my physical activities, talking to my therapist and speaking with friends are all helping with moving on. I created this group to provide a space for people going through job or career challenges or transitions, which are affecting their mental health. I am an HR Practitioner with over 20 years of experience, and I myself have experienced the good, the bad, and the ugly about work. Hopefully this space will allow us to support each other, share our stories, and know that we are not alone. Everyday hundreds of people around us, in our communities, go through mental health issues triggered by a work experience or a work / career transition.
