I have been presented with a unique opportunity to change up the language used surrounding pregnancy, birth and beyond so that it is more inclusive.
As a queer, trans person, I am able to talk about language in general but since I can not have children myself, I am unable to give a valid opinion on the language that will make queer and/or trans parents feel comfortable in pregnancy birth and beyond.
