I just recently was diagnosed with Mild cognitive impairment. My husband noticed some I was doing some things that weren't like me. My short term memory is getting worse and forgetting words alot. I made a mistake driving. My diagnoses is due to vascular etiology. Whatever that means. The Dr's say some people never progress to dementia or Alzhiemers. But of course there is always chance. There is no cure or magic medicine for this stage. The recommendations the Dr's gave me were movement, like walking and eating less surgary, processed foods. Oh and exercise my brain with puzzle games. I have to admit, I'm a little confused on how I should feel about this. Has anyone out there gotten this diagnoses or have any information on it? #mildcognitveimpairment #CognitiveDisorders
