Go where no one can follow.

Just drop this facade you cary with you.
And leave you're worries in another state.
Grab your jacket, hit the road.
Change everything, even fate.

Then you look at everything you have.
You kids, or pets. Your parents.
You can't walk away from this, you can't walk away from everything here.
You have to stay strong. You have to show them you have no fear.
You pick yourself up.
Dust off your hurt, buckle up for another round.
Pray you won't wind up in the dirt.
Put on your fight song, roll up your sleeves.
Stick to your guns.
Because you just cannot leave.

And as you wash the same dish for the umpteenth time today.
You close your eyes. Dreaming of someplace far away.
With a farm, and goats, maybe a few ducks.
Chickens, NO GEESE, a horse.
