I am working on a 90-stitch mini blanket using CARON Cinnamon Swirl Cake yarn. I have several yarn cakes from this line that I will use up, as I’ve decided not to repurchase them. I have several reasons for this choice, primarily because Yarnspirations is discontinuing several yarn series I relied on, which means I need to find suitable replacements. Additionally, I’ve consciously decided to avoid purchasing yarn made in China. I believe in investing in high-quality materials, and paying over six dollars a skein for yarn that doesn't meet my standards is frustrating.
I understand that some people may not have the same purchasing options, but I do, and I'm prioritizing companies that uphold my values. Right now, I’m also watching a YouTube video about the missing infant, #EmmanuelHaro , and I have strong concerns about his parents' involvement in his disappearance.
On another note, I’m following #PoliticalNews and actively exploring platforms beyond Meta. Mark Zuckerberg's grip on social media is too tight, and it’s time for a change. I’m tired of ads and irrelevant content invading my timeline.
As I spend the rest of my day, I’ll be #knitting , relaxing, and researching #Misophonia and its connections to mental health and migraine headaches.
