A good day in a happy place.

Yesterday I felt pretty good. I was able to go to the archives, one of my favourite places, and get some good research tome in. I even got to wear these lovely cotton gloves and go through some old photos! I’m a historian by trade, so I love when I feel well enough to actually get out and engage with history, rather than just working behind my computer. Yesterday was a good day. Today I am recovering. Recovery day

My need today was a Recovery Day. I emailed the director and told her I couldn’t make the training then turned off my alarm and slept in. I’ve taken it slow today, reserving my energy for the weekend ahead. No major plans but I want to catch up on things so today I plan for that. Time for some TV and a good book!
