Chester Bennington, the lead singer of Linkin Park, died by suicide.

The 41-year-old had struggled with drug and alcohol addiction for years.

He was also open about his history of childhood abuse.

The singer described his feelings in beautiful, heartbreaking and sometimes angry songs that resonated with millions.
