I don't know about anyone else but when I go threw something in life ... especially something difficult some ink therapy helps me threw. I got some closure on the difficult subject of my father's suicide yesterday ( it happened when I was 12 but just now hlgetting some closure because of the circumstances) . Today I got to have my big piece on my arm finished and it is so amazing. Much needed #TattooTherapy

Does anyone else use tattoo or ink therapy as a treatment of choice? Whether it's the release of endorphins, the distracting pain or the expression of internal struggles, it has been theorized to be a form of therapy for those with mental health challenges. Evidently those with multiple tattoos have a stronger link to mental illness. Of course this is not due to large scale studies.

I, for one, agree completely as I prefer tattoo therapy to, well, any other kind. Tomorrow I will have a therapy session to finish my hands and back tats. I. Cannot. Wait.
