Hello everyone- hope all are trudging through the day with a smile. I went to an accupuncturist yesterday who told me my chronic neck pain for last 15 years and fatigue, etc is due to fibromyalgia. I'm trying to read and understand as much as I can about it. I'm in the middle of switching my M.D. and wondering if I should ask the new one to confirm this and to run the battery of tests to rule out everything else? My blood tests last year were pretty normal (thyroid, etc) I'm not sure if I need or want to be on medications? Are they necessary for living with fibro? I'm already taking 2 antidepressants which do nothing for the pain or the foggy head or the concentration or the fatigue. Not sure if I should stick with accupuncture and see how that improves it? I read some other posts which has provided a lot of help and wanted to reach out. Any thoughts on how to navigate from here would be wonderful!
