Today was fun but I was in a considerable amount of pain
We went to the curiosities and oddities expo in Detroit today. I managed to last 4 hours. I didn't buy anything. I got an onion smash burger for lunch. It was the first burger I've had in over 4 years!
I was so proud of myself for pushing through the pain and using my walker when I needed to sit down. Pauley said she's proud of me too. And my QPP said I did good. I kinda didn't have any order to my chaos. I just sorta drifted from vendor to vendor. I saw plenty of really neat things but nothing to bring home with me.
I was worried about ruining Pauleys time by needing to sit so much. She said it was self care and there's nothing wrong with needing to stop and breathe. My QPP wanted to go at a different pace so we split up and did our own thing. That way he didn't have to slow down and worry about me.
When we got home Pauley heated up a Colby Jack cheese stick for me. We talked about how well I did today. I know I would have done better if I had gotten the cortisone injections yesterday. The toradol shot didn't help. But the way I walk with my rollater, I push down on the handlebars to take the weight off my hips. My arms are very sore.
I was so overheating at the expo. Sweat was pouring off my head and face. Pauley noticed and said she was worried about me being dehydrated so she refilled my bottle from the drinking fountain.
I haven't had any coffee yet today. I don't have any spoons after the expo. I'm exhausted. I was thinking about just taking 3 hydroxyzine and laying down to meditate for a bit.
We're gonna have Mediterranean salmon with cheesy broccoli for dinner tonight.
Overall today was ok. Not as good as I had hoped but I had fun.
