#Christmas SONGS TO RELAX OR RAISE MOOD

I like, & often do, pretend it's Christmas by playing Christmas music & pretending it's #ChristmasTime . Often I light a pine-tree scented candle , too! It's great!

Christmas at Universal Studios

Every year people visit the theme parks. And each year it seems like it gets busier and busier. Have you ever been to a theme park or then on vacation during this time of year with family or friends or even by yourself?

It seems that even when you're by yourself and you see things like this it still brings a sense of joy To your heart. Even if you don't feel it during the day, by the time that you see the things that make you laugh, you will have a change.

It is taking me a long time to get to this part of my life. But I believe that we are strong, and I believe that no matter where we are, we can find joy in something. I don't know what you're going through, I don't know where you grew up, and none of that really matters.

What matters is how you choose to manage your problems and your disease of the mind. It isn't easy and there will never really be a cure, as medication is a Band-Aid. But I think that if you take a moment for yourself, even if you need more than just a moment, you will find a small sense of joy.

Whatever you do, don't focus on having some kind of long and inspirational list of things that you have to do in the new year. Think about things as though every day were a new year. Don't allow yourself to look at the changing of the calendar and think that somehow you have to become this new person just because the date on the calendar changes. Everyday you are you even if things slightly changed during the years. Day by day can be considered a "New Year" if you really wanted it to.

Do what you can do to give yourself a sense of peace. Do what you can do to give yourself a sense of genuine contentment. Don't let others push you into feeling uncomfortable in a situation just because it's the holiday season. Don't be afraid to speak up and tell them what it is that you need. If they get mad at you for it that's their fault not yours. Always remember that you have a community of people that exist out there in this world, who are here to support you and love you for who you are. Remember this holiday season that you're not alone. Hug a family member, hug a friend, hug your pet, or even just hug your blanket and give yourself a small bit of comfort.
