Major Surgery August 2020
Back on Monday August 24th, I had my surgery for thoracic outlet syndrome. Was released on Tuesday afternoon. Then went to the ER on Wednesday the 26th for pancreatitis and was released on Saturday the 29th.
The surgery was in neck shoulder area not around my stomach. I don’t drink alcohol and didn’t have any kind of stones in my system. Surgery team is sure that nobody hit my stomach. So my pancreatitis was called a fluke. Just a random way my body Reacted to surgery.
I’m recovered surgery was successful and I’m back at work. Both thoracic and pancreas teams took very good care of me while in the University of Utah hospital. Hardest part was not having anyone be there with me because of Covid-19.
