Monday #HighLowHigh

Happy Monday! Mondays are a great time to reflect on the previous week and look forward to the coming one too. What are two highs and one low from the past week? How did you cope with your low moments and celebrate your wins?

Mine: I confronted some fear foods and ate them anyways, and I also had some conversations with friends that brightened up my day. My mental health wasn’t great, and I spent a lot of time sleeping, but I reminded myself that it won’t last forever and tried to do what I could.

Monday #HighLowHigh

Monday is a great time to reflect on the past week, so let’s do a high-low-high! What are two highs and one low in your life this past week? How did you cope with the lows?

I’ll start: My highs were getting a bunch of work done and finishing up the quarter for school. My low was stressing over all of the school things I needed to finish during finals week. I coped with the low by taking my time on each piece of work and reminding myself that I would eventually get it done.

What about you?

Hey, Warriors! My name’s Kelly, I’m your group leader, and I apologize for my absence lately — life has been a lot!

Let’s reflect on the past week today. What were two highs and a low from this past week? How did you cope with the lows?

Mine: I went on a date and braved the pandemic to go to a restaurant for the first time in months. On a lower note, I’ve felt emotionally numb lately.

Share your #HighLowHigh and #TuesdayTriumph!

Coming at you a bit late this week because of the long weekend, but what were two highs and a low from the past week? Also, what’s a recent recovery triumph you’d like to share?

Mine: Highs were getting “undiagnosed” with a mental illness I just didn’t fully vibe with and spending some time with my mom. Low was dealing with low mood. And a recent triumph? I used several DBT skills last week!

The good thing about Monday? It’s the perfect time to reflect on the previous week! Share two highs and lows from your past week. How did you celebrate the highs and cope with the lows?

Mine: My highs were walking to the beach and planning a birthday surprise for my boyfriend. My low was struggling with pain after the walk (and feeling some subsequent self-hatred because being physically disabled likely made my pain worse).

Happy Monday! Let’s make this a great week by meeting ourselves where we’re at and being gentle no matter how our productivity is right now. ❤️

Speaking of where we’re at, what are two highs and one low from the past week? How did you cope with the lows?

Mine: Highs were visiting my sister and grandma social-distance style and getting an article published. Low was struggling to respond to comments in this group - my depression was making everything more challenging.
