This is a mix between a meditating focus and a technique my psychology taught me in Italy. It requires a bit of concentration and the hot water of a shower.

1) Get in the shower.

2) On the hot water. Let it flow for a bit.

3) Close your eyes and try to focus only on the flow of the water. Picture the water in your mind. Listen to the sound of it. So constant and calming. Feel the warmth of the it on your body. It flow so smoothly and easily right?

4) All the bad staff happened during your day are heavy on you like you are covered in mud and mud can be cleaned away.
Now picture that in your mind and start to use a sponge/cloth with soup and start slowly to clean the "mud" away.
I want you to picture it in your mind. Look all the heavy mud grow tinner and tinner and then disappear totally.

5) Now picture in your mind (keep your eyes closed) the drain and all that mud going down it. Hear the sound of the black water slowly disappearing in the drain until is gone and you can see (in your mind) only clean water. Now close the water.

6) Ok now SLOWLY open your eyes. Allow yourself to feel lighter and see everything around you brighter.

7) Now take a deep breath.
Count to 5 when you INHALE.
Keep it in for 5. Now count to 5 while you EXHALE.

8) Now smile. Get out of the bathroom and dress yourself and go on with your day.

I usually do this in the morning or if I really feel low on energy.
I usually recite my mantras while doing this but you can say prayers or even just do the procedure only. Up to you.
