years of pain has made me feel like I don’t really know who I am anymore . I went from working as a police officer , 45-50 hr weeks as well as a diligent parent to my two beautiful children .... to having to find a low pay desk job and being half the man/dad I used to be. I feel like it’s still getting worse physically / mentally and my mood slips a little lower every day . 😢

I’ve had pain in one place for years. Left upper side of abdomen . I’ve had So many tests / scans etc and the only thing found was pancreatic divisum but there was no inflammation and Dr’s wouldn’t commit to whether this was the cause . I honestly feel like I’m going mad . The pain Never goes away . I cry every damn day. Has anyone had anything similar!?!? is this physical or mental/emotional pain !!??? I’m thinking about starting a patient advocate service for pancreatic sufferers! Whether it’s from chronic pancreatitis, acute pancreatitis, pancreatic cancer or some where in between! I have a degree in social work and I’ve suffered for 5 years now with some form of pancreatitis!
