I’m frustrated with myself and chronic pain. The season is changing and every joint and fiber in my body knows it. It makes me mad that my body does want to enjoy the same things my mind does. I try to manage with just OTC but it seem to be getting worse and worse the farther away from treatment I get. I thought it was supposed to go the other way. #postcancertreatment

I'm 28 years old and waiting for a consultation regarding hip replacement surgery. At 25 I was diagnosed with Acute Lymphoblastic leukemia (ALL) and underwent 2 years of chemotherapy (Dana Farber Protocol) to keep it in remisson. I finished chemo in March of 2018, and 3 months later was informed I need a hip replacement from lack of blood flow to the top of my left leg. I'm looking for anyone with a similar experience that I can ask questions because I dont think I've ever been so scared in my life and also I'd like to hear stories of people who have been through it and what recovery was like.
