Rose

For two days now I've been looking at that blood-red rose from the window and thinking... She's definitely beautiful. I've been there several times to pick it up but I can't, I feel that if I picked it I would be the one to bleed.

Rose: a hug from a friend here at the in-patient facility ; thorn : a not-so-nice reply from my girlfriend to a message of mine (basically telling me that I should work on being less aggressive and that maybe the doctors here at the in-patient facility could focus on that)
