So after seeing multiple ads and videos from neuro divergent people about loop earplugs and thinking about them for months I finally bought some. I have misophonia and get extremely triggered by clicking, tapping and ticking sounds (clocks, computer mouse, keyboard, tapping pens etc) to the point I feel like I'm I'm in psychological and physical pain.

I tried them last night, I could still talk to my partner and understand him clearly, but couldn't hear his controller clicking while he played a game. I just started crying from joy, it was the biggest relief, like I don't need to suffer anymore. I can't wait to test them at work today.

To say yesterday was rough would be a massive understatement. My nephews were their general energetic selves as they tend to be. My brother and brother-in-law only know one way to get the kidss’ attention: yell. All said, I came close to breaking yesterday. However, I made it, and now, I’m detoxing with my favorite music and writing. THank goodness for earbuds, Bluetooth keyboards, and a love of writing.
