Men in the closet

Are we still in the centuries where we believe that men are strong, that they don't cry. Have we accepted that also men can be victims of abuse such that they need help. Have the ancient rules changed or we have to change them. Most men are living inside the closet because they are scared to be laughed at or being looked down upon once they voice out.

Let's discuss what's you view about men in the closet.

Hello Mighty Community #introduction , #victimization , GLBT

Hello, (***trigger warning*** for those who have been sexually assaulted or assaulted), my name is Eric. I don't really know what I expect or want from joining this group, but I am grateful for the healing, strength and answers it brings to those connected to it. I am a rape victim, who happens to be a man and who also happens to be gay. Alas, those things have barricaded me from justice, I think. I seem to be the exception to the rule when it comes to justice and Marcy's law. Because of the lack of police interest or involvement, my victimization is now a continuum of one which I can find no way out of. I suppose I am seeking advocacy and nobody ever really seems to be willing to give that to me, but I certainly have proven that I am not whom is best to represent my needs. I am trying to hold on. I may or may not check in regularly, because I don't do anything regularly. I am all over the place and my attention span has diminished substantially in recent years. Just putting that out there. Hi.
