Service Dogs are Expensive

Because insurance doesn't cover any part of getting a service dog, it is a very expensive process. From food, medical care, training, and boarding for 2+ years during their time training, most service dogs from programs cost $30,000 or more! Non-profits rely on donations to help disabled individuals receive their dog, while for-profit companies require payment directly from the individuals.

Dogs are AMAZING

More and more we hear about the benefits of owning a dog but for us, the disabled a dog can be a caretaker, a protector, a nurse and a best friend.
Dogs are the only reason I haven't given up the fight, I owe them.
Please consider a dog to help you, they don't judge, can be trained and love you unconditionally. Asking for help is so hard for us, it creates tremendous anxiety which is so bad for us.
Small dogs are easier to handle but I love big dogs, more to cuddle. I have had 3 big boys, good barks! I know I am always protected and never alone.
