My body is not having it this week. Full disclosure: I threw up mid-email today. Not glamorous I know, but it’s the reality when you live with chronic pain.

I’m taking a cue from our Mental Health Time Out challenge and giving my body a break so I can finish the week strong. Sometimes honoring your body is the best thing you can do for your mental health.

If you had a hard day too, I hope you know that you’re not alone. I am right there with you. Thank goodness we live in a world with tomorrows. ✨

Does having to speak with your mom and or dad make you anxious?

Over the years I’ve always dreaded having to visit and speak with my mom / stepmom. She’s a very nice person but also very critical and judgmental. I’ve tried to be more communicative with her but this has made her become even more critical and judgmental with my relationship with my partner and my financial issues. I just don’t know what to tell her. She worsens my anxiety and depression. There are moments where she tells me how great I am and others where I should have done something else. #Depres #on #Mental #alth #lost # #ress # #stressed
