A man with facial scarring is walking through a public park. A couple is walking toward him.
GIRLFRIEND (to boyfriend): Psst...look at that guy. His face is fucked up!
Frame 2:
The couple begin to pass by the man.
BOYFRIEND (loudly): OMG! IT'S FREDDY KRUEGER!
The girlfriend laughs.

The couple pass the man.
MAN (over his shoulder): OMG! IT'S TED BUNDY!

EMPLOYER: We can hire you for the stock room, but you can't work with the customers...you know...because of your face.
Frame 2:
The man gets up to leave.
MAN: No, thank you. I'm afraid I can't work for you...you know...because of your attitude.

A woman with burn scars on her face and arm is sitting on a bench with a friend at a bus stop.
A man and his girlfriend are standing nearby, chatting with a guy in a Halloween costume.
MAN: I that your Halloween costume?
COSTUME GUY (grinning): Yup. I'm a burn victim!
Frame 2:
GIRLFRIEND: Ewww, that's so disgusting!
MAN: How'd you make that creepy skin?
The woman on the bench and her friend overhear the conversation, and are uncomfortable.
Frame 3:
The bus arrives.
Frame 4:
The bus leaves. The three people are gone, but the woman and her friend remain. The friend tries to console her distressed friend.

#FacialDifferences #honesty #Children As an adult, when children ask me what's wrong with my face I generally tell them that I was just born this way. Typically this is just asked out of curiosity, not malice. It happened today, and it still makes my heart sink.
