Hello everyone. I just joined The Mighty app and I wanted to say hi and share a bit about myself. I was recently diagnosed with major depressive disorder and borderline personality disorder. I’ve been on a bit of a rollercoaster since my diagnosis. I’m happy that my doctors and myself know what is going on so I can get the proper help. I’m also very upset that something is wrong though. It’s very conflicting and confusing feelings I am having. A bit of denial is in there as well.

Hey everyone! How are you all? Hope you are well. I wasn’t sure how I was going to start my first post but here we are. :) As I read the many posts on here along with the positivity, I wanted to add some positivity myself. Never lose hope in becoming the greatest person you can be. Never feel that you are less than anyone else, or let others make you feel this way. We are unique in our own ways, and those who love us for us know it’s true. We are their sunshine and they are ours. It doesn’t matter if that person is our boyfriend/girlfriend, it could be a best friend we venture into the darkness to help disperse it so more light can be seen and felt. We are never alone, I believe there is always a guiding spirt that says “Don’t give up, don’t give in” even in the hardest of days. The truth is, you matter and so does the love, gratitude, friendship and laughs you share. Always remember you are loved and valued, as a person, but most importantly as a human. Whether we affix labels to ourselves or someone else does, we don’t come bearing a barcode or a QR code. We are more than that, YOU are more than that. #Positivity #NeverGiveUp
