The answer is not drugs. #drugfree

I see a lot of talk on what drugs people take and what’s better. Well all drugs have side effects and potential additions to other health problems. My solution to dealing with Crohn’s, was to remove triggers and change my lifestyle. I stopped my meds (you need to weigh up your personal situation before just outright stopping) removed toxins from my house, I.e. the cleaning products and cosmetics I used. I changed my diet , removed the processed junk, gluten, dairy and replaced them with wholefoods and plenty of fruits and vegetables, mainly vegetables as the sugars at the time were a bit much. Also a huge issue was SUGAR! this really needs limiting and ideally removing gradually. I learnt how to deal with stress better and changed my mindset. I’m now drug free, none at all! Flare ups are really rare and I’m doing plenty of cycling and other exercises. Life is so much better. The doctor says "you will be on meds for the rest of your life" it doesn’t have to be that way, and I’m not the only one who has changed things for the better either! #drugfree #lifestylechanges #diet #change #CrohnsDisease #IrritableBowelSyndromeIBS #Colitis
