I took Otto to the vet a couple weeks ago because I heard some sneezes. Birds respiratory systems are really sensitive and sneezes could turn quickly to a lung infection and kill them. Anyway vet found him to be a healthy boy but to keep an eye on him.

I brought him home relieved! I had him on my shoulder to record a video of him talking. Here's our conversation: ( I got it recorded too!)

Me: "Otto, you want to tell your friends your healthy and feeling better?"

Otto: " I'm better baby!"

Me: (laughing) "Yes you're better baby. Were you faking it?"

Otto: " Otto's a good boy "

Another funny story which I also caught on video.

I had Otto on my shoulder and we were working on his pronunciation of "Whatcha doing?" Here is our conversation:

Otto: attempt at saying "whatcha doing?"

Me: "Whatcha doing, Otto?"

Otto: "Being a pretty bird"

Another time he was on my shoulder, I didn't get this recorded, he was trying to get my friend to whistle back with him. My friend wasn't paying attention. Otto kept looking at him and wolf whistling sometimes slowly like he was trying to teach my friend how to wolf whistle. Lol Finally Otto got frustrated, looked at my friend then back at me and says, "He's such a bird!"
