My Mum taught me to do counted cross stitch when I was about 12. I find it relaxing although it is so precise.
I am blessed to live in a 55+ community and this month I will be learning to make my first jelly roll quilt. I'm nervous on one hand and so excited on the other.

So… I wanted these beautiful pleated palazzo pants from Bagdley Mischka, but they cost almost $500. 🙄 Nevertheless, my mind was stuck on them, so when I saw a pleated satin prom dress at Goodwill, inspiration struck! I made my own! Does anyone else like to repurpose vintage clothes and Goodwill finds?

While my collection wasn't able to walk the runway this year it was a huge motivator for me to push through my covid related anxiety. I drafted all the patterns, made the clothes, and directed the photo shoots.
