No one said living with a rare disease would be easy, however it’s what many people live with every day. Having a rare disease (multiple rare diseases at this point personally) has certainly made things challenging for me at times personally in my life. For those who deal with it know that you’re not alone.
So the time has come around again, and day is upon us. Having lived with some life threatening rare chronic illness since birth has presented me with challenges few can truly imagine in my life. For this reason, and for those who contend with serious and rare every day yet have to contend with people who are ignorant I challenge you to do more than show your rare, but SHARE YOUR RARE.
