Eat Your Veggies!

When I decided to approach food as medicine to help manage my symptoms I wasn’t super sure where to start, so I subscribed to a weekly produce delivery service and did my best to eat all of the produce I got. I started to feel better within 5 weeks!

Are you tired of friends who say that Bi Polar can be “cured” with diet?

I have friends who are convinced that if I change my diet and exercise more my moods will stabilize and I can stop taking meds. Um, no. What they do not see is how the mania says “That sounds like a great idea! I can make easy to heat meals for the freezer, ride my bike, etc.” Then the depression hits and all of those good intentions (half finished to boot) are right out of the window. #Bipolar #Bipolardiet
