    Motivational Monday: Give Yourself Grace

Living with a chronic illness can be difficult, but by giving yourself grace, practicing self-care, accepting help, and recognizing your worth, you can move through it with strength and resilience. Be kind to yourself and recognize that progress is worth celebrating. Take time for yourself and accept help from others. Recognize that your illness is not a reflection of who you are.

    First time with Covid

I'm on day 4 with covid and am hoping for some tips on how to get through this.

It seems to be flaring my fibro badly since last night and I'm considering taking narcotics it's so bad.

I'm keeping a close eye on vitals, especially oxygen rate. So far I'm okay. This is just really rough with all my other illnesses.

    Any helps would be appreciated.

Motivational Monday: Start, Use and Do What You Can

“Start where you are. Use what you have. Do what you can.”- Arthur Ashe

Managing diabetes can seem daunting, but it doesn't have to be. The key is to start where you are, use what you have, and do what you can. Living a fulfilling life with diabetes can be accomplished by taking small steps and setting realistic goals.

The first step is to start where you are: know your health numbers (blood sugar levels, cholesterol, kidney function, etc.), then build from there.

Next, take advantage of the resources you have to manage diabetes: a dietary plan, medicine (if needed), and a supportive community.

Finally, focus on one day at a time to manage diabetes the best that you can by making realistic goals and giving yourself grace as needed.
