What are some characteristics not really talked about regarding BPD?

Self-mutilation behavior such as cutting, but bruising, burning, head banging or biting are not unusual. Have you ever done any of these.. Are you past this point or do you still do this.. Remember healing from bpd / emotional abuse is a stepping stone.. You will permanently have bpd but you don't have to live in constant emotional pain.
